I can honestly say that carrying this pedometer around and down loading the results to my computer has increased the length of my walks and how often I go for a walk. Also, at work I will often take the stairs instead of the elevator. This pedometer gives you a lot of information to help you in your trek to better personal fitness but I mainly use the # of steps with a goal of 10,000 a day.
